This alternator can be used for a significant upgrade on the 1985 through 1989 K models that came with the 450 watt / 32 amp original alternator. Upgrade on these models requires changing the coolant reservoir to the later style , and one wire terminal which is supplied. It is a bolt-in replacement for all the other models listed.
